Market Entry Strategy

By , October 22, 2009

We provide our clients with a comprehensive China Market Entry Strategy. It’s a 3 step process that can be completed in 30 days. We have divided the process into the Western Market Assessment and the Eastern Market Assessment.

In the first week, we perform the Western Market Assessment. During this process, we learn more about your company, your products and your China infrastructure requirements. After this is completed, we deliver a straight forward evaluation of your needs, the market potential and a realistic China ROI for your company.

Basically this provides most of the information you need to make an informed decision about your entry into the China market and the feasibility of initiating the Eastern Market Assessment.

The Eastern Market Assessment addresses the market potential for your products and the best business structure and platform for creating new sales in China. We will evaluate your objectives, capabilities/resources, strengths/weaknesses and, as necessary, product portfolio. Then the EWB team, comprised of country and industry specialists, completes a thorough assessment which includes:

  • Current and future market opportunity
  • Price and competitive dynamics
  • Client product fit
  • Regulatory environment and dynamics
  • Distribution structure and costs
  • Logistics

Once the Eastern and Western Market Assessments are completed, EWB will work with you on establishing your office in China. EWB will:

  • Offer ongoing efforts to research your product industry, new prospects, and current trends. EWB identifies all trade shows, expos, distribution partners, government channels and business associations to be considered when drafting professional market strategy.
  • Recruit a sales representative based on your technical specifications and requirements. This representative works entirely for you but is supported and managed by EWB staff. Additional representatives can be added as business requires.
  • Provide “Operations Management” to facilitate human relations, administration, accounting, logistics, customs, government/safety compliance and oversee that business conduct is held to US expectations.
  • Provide a downtown professional office work space, common areas, conference room, show room, furnishings, storage area, computers, internet, fax, phone, and full departmental support along with a friendly and positive company culture.
  • Assist you to setup up your legal entity, transfer resources and staff to the new operation, as desired.
